As part of the Vaccination Transformation Programme in Scotland, we have established 4 teams across NHSGG&C to deliver Childhood immunisations. We are now recruiting to fixed term staff nurse vacancies to deliver childhood flu this winter. Full and part time positions are available. Band 5 Staff nurses are required to administer and contribute to the safe and efficient childhood immunisation programme delivering immunisations to children in all areas of Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.
Band 5 Staff Nurse :
You will be an experienced NMC registered Nurse on part 1 of the NMC register, preferably with experience of immunising children, an interest in Public Health and a desire to work within a small skill mix team. The post will involve mainly working within community/school based clinics delivering flu vaccines. Full training will be given.
All posts are employed GGC Board wide and cross Boundary.
You will be asked to outline your preference for a full or part time post and indicate a preferred team based on 1-4 at interview if you are successfully shortlisted.
