An exciting opportunity has arisen in Ayrshire and Arran for a Senior Charge Midwife for The Safeguarding Midwifery Team.
You will be an expert Midwifery practitioner with Specialist knowledge and working experience within the field of child protection. Supporting your team of Safeguarding Midwives to manage caseloads of vulnerable women, manage and assess child protection risks and participate in multi-disciplinary child plans to improve outcomes for families within Ayrshire and Arran.
You will have knowledge and experience of working with families involved in Addictions, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Mental health Services and other third sector agencies.
You will be an excellent communicator both verbally and non-verbally and work well within the team and the wider multidisciplinary team.
You must be a Registered midwife having current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council being an essential requirement along with a full driving license. A Post graduate qualification in Child Protection is desirable for this post.
