Infrastructure Analyst

Salary:    Band 5 £24,670 - £30,742 plus £1,298.39 High Secure Environment Allowance per annum

Post details:    The State Hospitals Board for Scotland is looking a Band 5 IM&T Infrastructure Analyst. This is a permanent position to provide IT support to all users within the State Hospital.

    
Experience/Qualifications    We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Infrastructure Analysts to work within the IM&T Infrastructure team at The State Hospital. The post holder should have 2-3 years experience of MS Windows Operating Systems and applications. Experience within a Helpdesk environment would be preferred as the post holder will be expected to work in accordance with call handling procedures to ensure calls are effectively resolved.
They will provide first and second line support on hardware and software to all IT users within The State Hospital.
An understanding of Dell Networks and storage, Veeam and VMWare would be advantageous.  
Applicants should have an enthusiastic approach, good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills within a team environment.

An HNC or equivalent in a computer related discipline is required.
Experience of working in the NHS is desirable, but not essential.
