Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist, CAMHS NHS Grampian
1 post – permanent – 37.5 hours per week
An Occupational Therapist, registered with HCPC, is sought to join the CAMHS OT and AHP team to work with children and young people aged 0-18 years, in a community setting within Grampian. The post holder will be based in Aberdeen as part of a multidisciplinary team in CAMHS.
The CAMHS team is welcoming and has a broad range of skills and knowledge, which encompasses profession specific and other modalities.
The post holder will be confident in OT practice and welcome the opportunity to extend skills and develop differing competencies in a more specialist CAMHS role. The person will require excellent communication skills and be a team player. Training and support for professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support safe practice. This post will specifically provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention as part of the CAMHS Learning Disability team and the new Home Intensive Treatment Team (HITT).
Candidates should be aware that there will be a requirement to travel across Grampian, therefore holding a full driving licence with access to a car is essential to this post.
