A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for two highly motivated Health Care Support Workers to become members of Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment, formulation, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care using a strength based recovery focused approach to care that proactively involves the person and optimises self-management. These posts will be key in delivering a fully integrated service within an access and core model of service delivery which will form part of the overall structure of ADRS.
Applicants should have a clear understanding of the need for and the ability to deliver a high quality recovery focused service and possess a range of skills including organisational, self-directing and self-motivating and effective written/verbal communication skills.
To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the RGN/RMN, within a hospital or community setting. The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment. Car owner/driver preferred. The shift pattern for this post is worked Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
