To manage the administrative staff of the HSCP and ensure the provision of a high level of business support to the HSCP through the development of staff and the establishment, management and maintenance of office systems and procedures, including data systems.
To support the Senior Business Support Co-ordinator in managing the business processes of the Health and Social Care Partnership and in providing secretariat services to a number of Committees and Groups within the Partnership.
To assist in the collection and dissemination of information from a variety of sources to support the work of the Partnership.
Experience/Qualifications
- Educated to Degree level or has significant relevant practical experience which demonstrates ability to work at degree level.
- At least 3 years previous administrative experience in a role which required practical use of written English and use of computer systems.
- Previous experience of developing and implementing administrative systems is essential.
- The ability to work as a key team player and respond to and meet the demands of a busy team
- Pervious supervisory experience and/or training e.g. as demonstrated by achievement of SVQ Level 4 in Management is desirable.
Specific Skills/Knowledge
- Advanced skills in practical use/development of IT applications/systems.
- Required to have knowledge of operation of NHS and local authority organisation, or similar large scale organisation.
- High level of competence in communication (both written and oral) and in numeracy.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
