We are looking for an outgoing and organised individual to join the Managed Clinical Networks Team based at Cameron House.  You will provide a comprehensive clerical and secretarial support to the MCN Managers.  This will primarily be typing of routine correspondence, maintenance of databases, preparation of reports, organisation and recording of minutes of meetings.  You will also organise meetings, training days, patient participation conferences and an annual conference.

You should be educated to Standard Grade level; possess a secretarial qualification, SVQ3 or equivalent.  Candidates should possess excellent keyboard skills; a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute; a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have experience of working with databases.  A knowledge of websites would be advantageous.

Previous secretarial experience is required, along with a sound working knowledge of office procedures.  You should have the ability to work as a member of a team and also on your own initiative with minimal supervision.   A knowledge medical terminology, patient confidentiality and handling of patient information would be advantageous.
