This permanently funded 1.0 WTE post will be based within the Boghall Community Wellbeing Hub within West Lothian which has been established for two years.  The post holder reports directly to the Hubs Team lead for operational management but professional to the Occupational Therapy Manager.

The Community Wellbeing Hub is a primary care service which aims to reduce medicalisation of conditions and promote self management in conjunction with a third sector organisation (LAMH). The Wellbeing Hub is the first point of access to mental health services for Adults aged 18-64 inclusive with mild to moderate mental health problems. The hub will provide integrated mental health service provision with a focus on continuous and organic supportive relationships that enable recovery. Interventions are limited to 6 – 8 sessions.

We are seeking a capable, organised, motivated Occupational Therapist for this exciting post. We are seeking someone with mental health skills and experience who can demonstrate the clinical decision making skills required. 

The role of Occupational Therapy will focus on outcome measures and audit of Occupational Therapy provision together with future service development. The post is based within the Hub however there will be clear links with the main Occupational Therapy department with professional supervision and support being provided from there.
