PHARMACY TECHNICIAN HIGHER LEVEL – Band 5
Full Time Post 1.0 WTE
NHS GGC Pharmacy Services, Preparative Services are seeking an enthusiastic higher level Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at the West of Scotland Cancer Centre .The Pharmacy department is housed in the West Of Scotland Cancer Centre and provides oral and intravenous chemotherapy to patients both in the north of the city of Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
The main duties of this post will consist of contributing to the day to day running of the Pharmacy department and to undertake routine technical activities within the aseptic unit, pre-filled chemotherapy section and the dispensary.
You will have SVQ level 3 or NVQ level 3 qualifications or equivalent and hold a checking qualification (FACPT dispensary or aseptic) and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Candidates without a current checking qualification may be considered as part of a band 4/5 initiative.
This post is full time 37.5hrs and will be worked 5/7 and includes weekend working and participation on public holidays.
