NHS Lothian is looking to recruit a number of graduate Physician Associates (PAs) across a range of specialities on behalf of the East Region – Fife, Lothian and Borders. Knowledge of Acute Medicine, ED, ENT, GP, IDU, MoE, Psychiatry, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Urology or Colorectal surgery would be particularly advantageous. Applicants must be educated to a post-graduate level from an UK FPA approved Physician Associate studies programme (or equivalent) and registered on the UK PAMVR by the time they take up employment. Prior experience of rotating through clinical placements in an East Region health board is desirable however all applicants will be considered that can demonstrate appropriate skills. Shift patterns will vary by department/specialty and may include out of hours, nights and weekends.
