A single Health Information & Technology (HI&T) organisation exists following a re-structure. Ref - Microsoft 365 Programme – Infrastructure Development Specialist – 2 Posts.
Band AFC6, 37.5 hrs, Smithhill Street, Paisley.
The Architecture team is part of the eHealth Strategy & Programmes group and works closely with the other eHealth services.
The key objectives of the architecture group are:
- To assess, design, develop and deliver the IT infrastructure for new-builds, new business/clinical services and new IT systems/applications.
- To improve the cost effectiveness and resilience of the underpinning IT infrastructure.
- To work closely with colleagues to scope, prioritise and develop IT services.
- To take a lead role in managing eHealth investment projects.
- Across all areas to consider a range of approaches, from innovative use of new technologies to rationalisation of existing systems.
- And be a source of expertise / consultancy on IT Infrastructure for eHealth and other services.
This position is within the Microsoft 365 programme team. The Microsoft 365 programme of work will move GGC from locally hosted Office apps and services to a shared NHS Scotland National Office 365 tenant.
We will be working in a phased approach.
Phase 1: User engagement and investigation.
Phase 2: Mail and personal data migration.
Phase 3: Shared, departmental data migration and closure processes
The focus for these roles is in phase 3 to provide support across the programme. This will involve working with the services and programme team to scope, develop, deliver, and support migration to Office 365 services for data and legacy SharePoint services.
You will be experienced in general IT, desktop support. Microsoft Office skills. Experience of data migration to SharePoint and experience of working with large, complex spreadsheets and large volumes of information would be advantageous.
Shift pattern is; Mon-Fri 9-5
