An exciting opportunity has arisen for first level Registered Nurses to join the Health Protection Team of the Directorate of Public Health, NHS Tayside.
You will work as a member of the Consultant and Nurse-led Health Protection Team being responsible for the nursing case management of individuals, their contacts and participate in the investigation of outbreaks of communicable disease and the implementation of infection control measures across the community and public health settings of Tayside, specifically around the Coronavirus pandemic.
The post-holder will be a first level nurse currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council with extensive clinical experience in nursing with a broad range of clinical skills. You will hold a first degree in a health-related subject, or have equivalent experience and be working currently as a nurse in a healthcare setting.
You should be able to provide evidence of having an active interest in communicable disease infection prevention and control or the management of environmental hazards. Experience within the community setting is desirable.
You will be required to travel within Tayside on a daily basis to fulfil the role.

Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week
Fixed Term/ Secondment for 12 months
