Band 8A Clinical Specialist SLT /Site lead GGH North Clyde Sector OPSS


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to provide clinical leadership, operational management and site leadership to Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) staff within the Adult Acute Speech & Language Therapy Service at Gartnavel General Hospital (GGH) championing the achievement of organizational and directorate objectives.

You will be a credible leader and have a consistent approach to supporting staff in conjunction with the SLT North Sector Lead in the delivery and achievement of high quality compassionate and person centered care, whilst driving quality initiatives across the sector.

It is essential you have a Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with current HCPC registration.


The post is part of a service that works 5 days over 7 with a rota for weekend and public holiday cover.

This post is 22.5 hours
