Applications are invited from senior clinical expert Theatre practitioners to join an enthusiastic and innovative team within the Theatre and Anaesthetic Team within Stobhill Hospital ACTH which at present offers Monday to Friday theatre cases

The Theatre Department comprises of 6Theatres.  The activity within these planned theatres comprise of patients who include a defined patient group requiring complex interventions and care post operatively.

At present this ACTH is a ‘Green’ pathway and supports surgical procedures in orthopaedics, ophthalmic, urology, gynaecological and general surgical procedures.

We are seeking motivated individuals who strive to deliver patient centred care competently with an emphasis on service delivery.

As an integral member of the clinical workforce high visibility is a must and experience in Team development and leadership will be valuable.

The successful candidate will be offered a supported induction period

This will be a super-numerical period shadowing SCN peers including hub and theatre co-ordinator. During this time input from recruitment, HR training and access with administrative support will be established.

This will build confidence in this new SCN role. Your development will also include and expected to develop learning pathways such as relevant leadership and /or Degree/Master modules. This will prepare you to undertake the full remit of the SCN role.

It is also essential you have evidence of continual development, IT skills, good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a theatre environment.

There is also an expectation to rotate within all Theatres. As a key member in these fast paced areas you will require a “can do” approach
