An opportunity is available for internal progression within the Endoscopy team at UHA.
Applications are invited from motivated and enthusiastic registered nurses with a desire to assist the SCN in the effective and efficient management of all resources within the department.
Post holder requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- Extensive experience in all Endoscopic diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency procedures
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently and effectively within a large multidisciplinary team
- Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate work load of elective and emergency patients
- Excellent mentorship and leadership skills to assist in the development, assessment and appraisal of our nursing team to ensure the provision of safe and effective care of patients requiring an endoscopic procedure within NHS Ayrshire and Arran (South)
- Desire to undertake departmental COSHH and risk assessments
