This is an exciting opportunity to join the new National Endoscopy Training Programme commissioned by NES and GJ through the NHS National Academy (NHSSA) Strategic partnership.
The Programme Lead will be directly accountable to the Chair of the NETP Board/ Director of the NHS Scotland Academy (NHSSA) and professionally accountable to the National Clinical Lead.
The post holder will manage the programme team requiring personal attributes of self-awareness, self- confidence and self-reliance. Professional leadership skills will be required to facilitate effective relationships with senior nursing, medical, educator and managerial teams.
The post holder will provide direction to the Regional Clinical Leads and the wider programme team within the clinical groups. They will lead the development and implementation of new and innovative models of care and education providing clinical and professional knowledge and expertise.
Applications are invited from candidate with a clinical background in Endoscopy who possess credibility within NHS Scotland to support the development of educational programmes nationally, building a new team and establishing a learning environment fit for the future.
This role will report to the Programme Lead for the National Programme Director and will be expected to work closely with the Regional Leads partnership, Chair of Board, the NHSSA and Hub team.
This role is offered on a part time or full time basis on a fixed term 2 year contract or secondment.
