Opportunities have arisen for experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the team providing MSK physiotherapy services across Aberdeen City outpatients and further afield.
We have a number of posts on offer and these posts are either on the NHS Grampian Band 6 MSK rotation or based within the Aberdeen City HSCP MSK Physiotherapy team that operates from bases across the city.
The MSK rotation offers the opportunity of working within both in and out-patients covering Elective Orthopaedics, Pain service and rotations within Shire out-patients and the City out-patients.
The Aberdeen City HSCP rotations are all out-patient rotations. They include specialties such as Fracture Clinic, Orthopaedic rehabilitation, Occupational Health, Pelvic Dysfunction and also working in specialist teams alongside the Advanced Practitioners. We run a number of groups within the departments including hydrotherapy. It is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a service which will have a key role to play in supporting the development of the first contact practitioner roles across NHS Grampian.
These posts are an ideal opportunity for physiotherapists who want to specialise in the musculoskeletal field. As well as having broad experience across a range of specialties, current or recent experience working in a musculoskeletal service is essential.
The postholder will also be involved in the supervision of junior staff and students on clinical placement with the service
We support an active in-service training programme and aim to support relevant continuing professional development.
