As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will carry out activities for patients in support of and supervised by a registered nurse. You will also carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward environment. You will assist the team in delivering care and organising structured, meaningful and therapeutic activities to aid the rehabilitation of patients. You will assist patients with all activities of living and assist the Registered Nurse and where appropriate other members of the Clinical Team to deliver patient care. You will assist in the planning implementation and evaluation of patients’ social/leisure interventions. You should share responsibility for key aspects of Housekeeping and stock control demonstrating a good awareness of cost efficiency and safety. You should have good communication skills. The shift pattern for this post is 3 x 6.25hr shifts between Monday - Sunday.
