An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services and Performance Department of the Facilities and Estates Sector for a Facilities Independent Auditor. The successful individual will be part of a busy team to support NHS Grampian in enhancing public trust and confidence, giving the organisation the assurance and protection by contributing to the prevention and control of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) and improving the healthcare environment through the auditing of cleanliness and the physical conditions of the internal built environment.
This role will involve manual handling duties when undertaking audits on the facilities and services within the built environment. The successful applicant should possess cleaning and supervisory experience within healthcare environments, have excellent communications and report writing skills, PC literate (Intermediate level in MS Word and Excel), awareness of Health and Safety and Infection Control, attention to detail, process driven, demonstrating the ability to work proactively on own initiative and as part of a team. The applicant must possess flexibility as they may be required to carry out audits during evenings or late nights. Previous auditing experience essential. Full clean driving licence required.
