Band 6 -  £33,072- £40,736 per annum

Distant Islands Allowance £1117 per annum

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and positive person to join the Clinical Governance and Professional Practice Team as Quality Improvement Co-ordinator. The post holder will play a key role in supporting Quality Improvement Projects throughout NHS Western Isles including SPSP Primary Care and Mental health Programmes and Scottish Access Collaborative improvement work.


The post is based in Stornoway at the Western Isles Health Board and the post holder will be required to travel between sites; this may also involve significant travel.

 

You will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and be supporting frontline teams. You will work with external stakeholders in Healthcare Improvement Scotland and senior management to maximise an integrated multidisciplinary approach to the Quality and Safety Agenda, using the Model of Improvement methodology. You will also support other Quality Improvement staff in increasing QI capacity and capability in NHS Western Isles,.
