As a vital part of NHS Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland’s (NSS) mission is to enable and support the delivery of better health and better care, working in partnership. We do this by providing a range of specialised support services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement and patient care. The Digital and Security (DaS) Strategic Business Unit supporting NSS and the wider NHS, Health Boards, Scottish Government and other Public Services across Scotland, is looking to recruit an innovative Senior Service Manager to be responsible for the ServiceNow Platform.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, own and promote the strategy for ongoing use of our ServiceNow products and services to existing and new subscribers
• Technical leadership in development, deployment and support of ServiceNow suite
• Work with NSS and external bodies to continually develop product backlog and service enhancements
• Review existing technologies and processes to identify areas where ServiceNow can improve service and reduce costs
• Actively manage licensing and cost management of the overall ServiceNow product suite
• Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement
• Develop organisational view and structure for the ServiceNow team of technical and product specialists required to support the service
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check.
Any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
