The NHS in the North of Scotland (NoS) commissioned a programme to implement a Hospital Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HEPMA) and Pharmacy Stock Control (PSC) system across the six Health Boards in the region. Hosted by NHS Grampian, a regional support team comprising of eHealth (IT), Pharmacy, Clinical and Programme Leadership posts is setup. The regional team seek to appoint an experienced eHealth Service Manager.
Key aspects of the eHealth Service Manager role are to support the design, planning, implementation and delivery of a robust service management and support service for the NoS boards in relation to the HEPMA & PSC IT system. This will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary regional team and a wide range of business and clinical stakeholders based within each Health Board.
Therefore, we seek candidates with excellent IT knowledge and communication skills who can communicate confidently (verbally and in writing) with a wide range of business leaders, healthcare professionals and suppliers on a range of service management and technical topics relating to operational delivery and strategy.
This is a complex change programme and support service and as such, the post holder will be required to work flexibly and dynamically in order to meet deadlines, whilst demonstrating the ability to manage, lead, and deliver continuous improvement.
