An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Forth Valley Hospital Early Supported Discharge for Stroke service. As a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist you will provide Physiotherapy clinical leadership and expertise within the wider ESD team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will help develop the service. The team provides an essential function in supporting the early discharge of patients from the hospital bed base; ensuring safe and effective transition of care and supporting patients ongoing journey.
The successful applicant will provide direct patient care, have specialist clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision making skills, they must be passionate in the provision of rehabilitation and improving the lives of people living with stroke and their families. The successful applicant must have experience in service development and quality improvement.
The applicant should posses the ability to prioritise fluctuating workloads and be flexible in a busy environment. The service is Forth Valley wide so will require the successful candidate to have the ability to move between bases in Falkirk Community Hospital and Stirling Community Hospital depending on demand.
