Experience of working within learning disabilities and community working? This is a full time permanent post within Glasgow City Adult Learning Disability Service based at Castlemillk Area Social Work Office, This exciting role offers you a specialist band 6 SLT post within an inter- disciplinary team where your SLT skills will support and engage with other disciplines. You will be part of a large MDT working holistically to support individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will be supported by and advanced SLT within the team. Benefits of MDT working include interdisciplinary EPR, admin support, joint working with nursing and AHP colleagues and Social Work staff as well as support from a dedicated SLT assistant. Applicants must be an HCPC registered speech and language therapist with post graduate dysphagia training. Experience with AAC and palliative care required. Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. Car driver essential.
Working pattern is 5/7 Hours: 37.5
