Fixed term 2 years.

Working with a Greater Glasgow and Clyde remit you will be a highly motivated individual who will undertake data analysis to inform the development; delivery and monitoring of Diabetes and weight management programmes as part of the Public Health Strategy. You will undertake population modelling based on diabetes risk; disease prevalence and associated factors; develop case finding approaches as well as collating data to inform primary care and secondary care colleagues regarding diabetes care and weight management outcomes. 

Hosted within the Public Health Directorate, the postholder will also work closely with the e-Health directorate and clinical colleagues to provide regular monitoring reports both locally and as part of the national programme.

You will be educated to degree level with excellent statistical skills. You will, have evidence of ongoing CPD, be able to demonstrate highly developed IT and information analysis skills with an in-depth specialist knowledge and experience of NHS data definitions, information standards and policies.

You will have proven experience of Information Management in a Health Care environment.

Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are required for making presentations to a senior audience and for commissioning analysis according to procedures and standards
