Training/Bariatric Accident & Emergency Resource

HCPC Registered Paramedics

An exciting opportunity has arisen for HCPC Registered Paramedic/s wishing to work for The Scottish Ambulance Service within the West of Scotland (Lanarkshire) as lead clinician on an Accident & Emergency Resource whilst supporting & developing our paramedic & ambulance technician student cohort.

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic, pro-active, dynamic HCPC registered paramedics keen to deliver high quality care to patients within Lanarkshire and surrounding areas. It is crucial that applicants are team players who are flexible in approach, display utmost professionalism and can demonstrate a ‘lead by example’ ethos.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified HCPC Registered Paramedics (who have at least 1-year post registration experience).

Successful applicants must demonstrate an enthusiasm towards supporting students/trainees through their education and placement period and a commitment to undertaking Mentorship and CAVA Roles is essential (for which appropriate training would be given). Applicants are also required to undertake a Bariatric Trainer Course to deliver bariatric training to staff and students as required within the Region (and again this training will be provided internally).

Applicants must also show a willingness towards their own Continuous Professional Development and work closely with the Education & Professional Development Department.
