The Orthotist is responsible for the delivery of clinical services to a defined client group undertaking a generic caseload.
Takes responsibility for a designated clinical caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge from care.
Works within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients and carers.
They supervise and delegate tasks to Orthotic technicians, Orthotic clinical assistants and support students while on clinical placement.
Essential Criteria
Honours Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or equivalent
HCPC Registration
Evidence of relevant post graduate CPD if graduated more than 6 months previous
This is a Fixed term post 12 months
