TASC Finance Assistant - Band 4
Fixed term/Secondment for 12 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team which supports Research & Development services within TASC. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to provide support to Finance Team colleagues in the delivery of a sound financial management service for both research activity and the requirements of the Scottish Government Health and Social Care Directorates.
You will be an effective team member, interacting well with others, exercising tact and sensitivity. You will have excellent communication skills, be numerate and confident using a range of finance and common technology systems. You will be required to multitask and cope with the pressure of maintaining throughput of quality work, both routine and ad hoc.
You should have relevant experience in a finance role, preferably in a large public sector organisation, e.g. NHS.
Relevant qualification at AAT / NVQ4 or equivalent level are required.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week. You will be employed by NHS Tayside.
