An exciting opportunity has become available for a part time Out of Hours receptionist working at Fort William Health Centre (or Belford Hospital) Fort William.
You will provide Receptionist cover to the Primary Care Emergency Centre (PCEC) which covers the Lochaber locality. You will take calls and pass on calls to the On-Call doctors for their attention.
The service covers a population of 13,000 with the main centres being Fort William, Ballachulish/Glencoe, Kinlochleven and Spean Bridge/Roy Bridge, Fort Augustus and Mallaig/Arisaig.
The OOH period covers evenings 1800 to 0800 plus all weekend and 8 Public Holidays. There will be a team of receptionists covering the key OOH periods. The 18.00 to 22.00 shift is worked flexibly from home with attendance at the Health Centre from 08.00 to 18.00 at weekends and on public holidays.
This post is for 8.25 hours but applications for 4 or 4.25 hours will be considered.
