Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
The role of the Centre Receptionist is to provide a Reception service for the Medical Education Training Centre (METC). This will involve the control and management of room bookings for a suite of training rooms, conference room and lecture hall.
The Centre Receptionist will also arrange catering for meetings/conference/events and be involved in the distribution of internal and external mail. The Centre Receptionist will be responsible for holding the centre keys and opening and closing of the METC.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job :

- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills, written and oral
- Excellent telephone call handling skills
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft office packages especially MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
- Technical ability in office / meeting room equipment

Experience & Qualifications:
- Educated to standard grade
- 2 years experience in reception / clerical work
- SVQ level 2 in Administration or equivalent
