Registered Nurse Band 5 x 2 posts

PERMANENT / PART TIME


An opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurse to join the Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team with opportunity to participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients with a drug and/or alcohol problem. Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team, provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 care to patients with drug and/or alcohol problems.


The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the assessment and treatment of patients referred. The post holder will hold a caseload of patients being responsible for the establishment and ongoing review of a care plan with each patient. The utilisation of motivational strategies will be a key part of the treatment delivered by the post holder. The focus of the treatment provided will be the recovery of the patient. The post holder will have a role in liaising with social work teams, primary care, residential units and other partner agencies as part of the post.


The Perth & Kinross Integrated Drugs & Alcohol Recovery Team includes a community substance use team which works across the area and Kinclaven Inpatient Substance Misuse Unit based at Murray Royal Hospital


You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register
