It provides consistent, high quality managerial and operational support to enable networks to deliver their aims and objectives to standards and timescales specified in service agreements. With our support, the networks can focus on what they are set up to do – adding value to healthcare in Scotland by supporting safe, effective, person-centred care.

We are seeking two experienced Programme Managers to join our team. Each will be responsible for the planning, procurement and performance management of a portfolio of up to three national networks and associated change projects.

Portfolio 1: Scottish Pathology Network and Scottish Clinical Imaging Network

The post requires excellent leadership, influencing, organisational skills and the ability to produce written work of the highest quality.

Networks include service users and managers, health and other professionals from education, social care and voluntary organisations. Engaging with stakeholders at this level requires the postholder to be able to nurture relationships across professional, organisational and geographical boundaries and commit to occasional out of hours work.
Frequent travel throughout Scotland is also required. A pool/hire car is available for business use.
