An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Manager Position based within the West or East Region.  This posts covers various locations and will be responsible for the operational management of Mobile Testing Unit teams across region of responsibility.  The Mobile Testing Unit is an intrinsic part of Scottish Ambulance Service and adheres to its values.
This managerial post will play a critical role in the achievement of the MTU goals of delivering testing to all of Scotland.  The post holder will assume a role within the management structure for MTU. The manager will be expected to work a 37.5 hr week with a shift pattern (4 on 4 off) across 7 days.

You should possess the drive and enthusiasm to deliver results within tight timeframes and have an understanding of the key issues and challenges facing the Ambulance Service.  It is essential that you possess excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, organisational and analytical skills along with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.  You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and have the ability to build, motivate, mentor and lead teams within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Previous experience working as a first line manager, involvement in managing change, working with internal / external partners and implementing local delivery plans would be an advantage.  The achievement of, or working towards a management qualification would also be advantageous.

You must be committed to improving quality and standards of care, have an appetite for new experiences, adopting alternative procedures and support cultural change.  You must also be IT literate and possess a driving licence.
