Immunisation Staff Nurse

Band 5 £27,418 - £34,229 including Distant Islands Allowance per annum
Full time 37.5 hours per week – Part time hours would be considered

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Immunisation Staff Nurse who will be responsible and accountable for the assessment and implementation of a high quality vaccination service which will be delivered to the population of Orkney in line with Public Health guidance in a variety of settings. The post holder will undertake immunisations to ensure the national immunisation programme is provided and that vulnerable groups are fully immunized.
Applications are sought from individuals who are qualified as a Registered Nurse with Post Registration experience preferably within the community setting. Good communication skills and team working are essential in this role whilst working in challenging times.
