Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Hours of Employment: 37.5 hours per week (permanent contract).
Salary: Within the range of Band 7 (Negotiable depending on experience).
An opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our established and forward thinking team. Pipeland Medical Practice is a busy, friendly training practice with a patient population of around 16,000 patients. We are based within the town of St Andrews within a purpose-built Community Hospital. We are committed to multi-disciplinary team working and at present this comprises eight GP Partners, one Salaried GP, four Advanced Nurse Practitioners, four Practice Nurses, three Health Care Assistants, a Mental Health Triage Nurse, two Health Visitors, eight District Nurses and have support from NHS Fife Pharmacists, all of whom are supported by an excellent administration team.
The ideal candidate will be friendly and motivated with excellent communication skills. The role involves the management of a wide variety of illnesses, autonomous working in patient assessment and prescribing, providing advanced levels of nursing practice and clinical decision making. Experience in the management of urgent care presentations including onward referral for investigations or admission would be advantageous along with a degree of expertise in telephone triage.
Hours to be worked across Monday to Friday with some flexibility of start/finish times.
