An exciting new role for a Senior Immunisations Practitioner for the Vaccination Programme has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced, and forward-thinking practitioner to provide professional leadership and clinical expertise.
The post holder will take a lead role in the Vaccination Programme and will take responsibility and be accountable for the assessment and implementation of a high-quality vaccination service which will be delivered to people in a variety of settings across Orkney.
The post holder will coordinate community vaccination delivery under the direction of the Team Lead for Vaccination and Community Treatment and Care and have responsibility for the day to day operational delivery of the immunisation programme across a variety of clinic settings. The post holder will have responsibility for the allocation of workload and the supervision of several clinical staff within the team, which will include healthcare professionals from several staff groups.
