Regional SARS-CoV Testing Hub – NHS Lothian Lauriston Outpatient Building, Lauriston Place, Edinburgh

Advanced Biomedical Support Worker– Band 3

Fixed term – 10 months
Applications are invited from well motivated, enthusiastic and hard working individuals.  Successful applicants will contribute in providing comprehensive support to the new Regional SARS-CoV testing centre set up by Scottish Government to provide resilience to existing SARS-CoV Health board testing.  Candidates should be adaptable, have good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude. Good practical experience and knowledge of Molecular techniques are desirable. 

The post is based in the NHS Lothian Lauriston Outpatient Building, Lauriston Place, Edinburgh although candidates must be prepared to work on any NHS Lothian site.  Participation in a full 24/7 shift working system (including weekends) will be expected.
