Receptionist - Walls Health Centre (Ref: 63321)
Part-time - 12 hrs per week
Fixed term until 31st July 2022
Band 3, Salary Range £21,709 - £23,603 pro-rata
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,971 per annum pro-rata
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Receptionist in the Walls Health Centre, working varying hours on Monday, Tuesday and Friday each week. The Practice is a salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 720 patients.
In this busy and demanding post, you will find no two days the same – the Reception staff have a key role in answering queries from members of the public as well as typing letters and referrals, dealing with prescription and dispensing requests, dealing with medication queries etc. Previous experience of working in a GP Practice would be an advantage but training on the job will be given. The ability to be flexible is key to this role.
This contract is for a fixed-term until 31/07/2022. The reason for the fixed-term contract is maternity leave cover. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
