Salary: £64,698 - £74,675. 37 Hours Per Week | Monday - Friday (No weekends, nights or shift work)

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Professional Advisor & Governance Lead to join our team.  Reporting to the Head of Operations (Health & Social Care), providing support to the Chief Officer (Health & Social Care Operations) and other team members on all professional matters. The Professional Advisor & Governance Lead will provide expert professional leadership and ensure effective health & social care governance in addition to providing advice on all aspects of practice including children, adult, mental health, learning disability and older people. 

This is an exciting time of expansion for our organisation and as such the successful candidate for this role will be enthusiastic and forward thinking.  We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate highly effective communication skills and an ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of the organisation and ensure robust systems and processes are in place.

Essential criteria and how to apply

  • Relevant professional qualifications and registration with NMC/HCPC
  • Evidence of expert professional leadership, ensuring effective health & social care governance. 
  • Ability to develop, implement and continuously review professional assurance and monitoring frameworks and set targets for improvement for senior practitioners and learning & development leads.
  • Experience of promoting systemic improvements in the delivery of a range of high quality, safe and effective services.
  • Experience of providing critical professional input to workforce planning forum and workforce plan including the recruitment and retention of practitioners.
