Applications are invited for the above 6-month fixed term full time (40 hours) post in Medicine for the Elderly at the Western General Hospital.
This post offers excellent experience for those considering career in Medicine for the Elderly. The post will provide a broad range of experience in many aspects of geriatric medicine including Stroke, Parkinson’s and Front Door Frailty. The main duties of the post holder will be supporting the general management of in-patients in the Medicine for the Elderly wards at the Western General Hospital. There will be the possibility of doing out of hours work with banding available. There will be opportunities to participate in the delivery of undergraduate teaching and perform quality improvement projects.
