Business Operations Manager

Due to business growth, an opportunity has arisen for the role of a Business Operations Manager (Full time) at Newburn Healthcare. We currently deliver clinical care to circa 18,000 patients with a population demographic covering Aberdeen city centre, Rosemount and Northfield. Shortly, subsequent to a successful business tender, we will also deliver the clinical care for the patients of Old Aberdeen Medical practice, who are predominantly students. 

We are an innovative practice seeking an individual with entrepreneurial spirit, who will be key in developing new business opportunities alongside the Newburn Partners. A leader able to challenge the norm and seek solutions to non linear problems. 

This newly created and exciting opportunity will encapsulate, and oversee, a variety of management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our practices, across several General Practice sites, by assuming overview of the daily running of the businesses along with high level involvement in all business aspects, including HR, patient services and liaising with the financial team. 

As the Business Operations Manager you will lead, and direct, the wider administrative and management team. A significant part of the role will involve an assessment of current management function and facilitating a restructuring process best suited to business needs. 

Business Operations Manager requirements: 
•    Graduate background/degree level qualification with recent experience in a senior management position 
•    Previous experience in healthcare settings (not essential) 
•    Significant experience successfully managing a complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations or strategies 
•    Experience with HR processes and contracts 
•    Understanding of business finance concepts and functions 
•    High level knowledge of generic business functions; including budgeting, staffing and strategic planning 
•    Proven track record in project and change management 
•    Proficient ethical leadership skills 
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
•    Outstanding people skills 

Salary range 45-50K- Band 8A (Commensurate with experience)
