Community Staff Nurse - Out of Hours Service

3 x 20 hour posts.

The post holder will work within the District Nursing Out of Hours services in West Dun HSCP, managing staff for phlebotomy services also.

• Essential Criteria
• 1^st Level Registration  - Adult Nursing
• Relevant post-registration qualification or equivalent experience
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• IT skills
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Ability to work to challenging deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative

• Problem-solving skills
• Leadership and Management skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Previous experience in primary care/community setting

Desirable

• Full Driving license
• V150/V300  prescribing qualification
• Current knowledge of care of PICC/Hickman lines
• Knowledge of Bladder health,
• Knowledge of pressure ulcer prevention, tissue viability and wound care formularies
• Palliative Care Experience

The shift pattern is over 7 days between 1630hrs and 0830hrs
