We are excited to be able to invite a Nurse Team Leader to join our Adult Nursing Team in West Dunbartonshire. As a team we are passionate in promoting the vital role the District Nursing Service plays in caring for patients and carers in the community in a person centred manner; driven by the desire to deliver the highest standard of care.

With a responsibility to lead the District Nursing teams in Dumbarton and Alexandria plus the Out of Hours Service, this post offers opportunities for professional development and the ability work innovatively within a supportive, committed and hardworking team.

Our ethos is one of openness and aspiration. We work collaboratively with colleagues in Health and Social Care Services across the HSCP to consider new ways of working that will deliver tangible positive health and care outcomes for residents in our HSCP.

The postholder will be an experienced District Charge Nurse, with at least 3 years current experience in practice, and high standards of clinical and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant policies that direct and affect Community Nursing is vital, as is a commitment to quality improvement and an ability to lead change and development.  The shift pattern for this post is 7.5 hrs shifts, over 7 days a week. Please note- this post requires an ability to be available for weekends and late shifts, but NOT as a regular occurrence.  Please call Senior Nurse for further information if required.
