COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSE
(BAND 5)
SALARY: BAND 5 (£26,104 - £32,915)
A vacancy has arisen for a mental health nurse who holds a current registration with the NMC to work with older adults experiencing mental health problems, including dementia. The post is based within Caithness. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of evidence based approaches with the client group and show ability to autonomously manage their workload safely and effectively .This post is suitable for newly qualified graduates also as full training will be given under the supervision of our highly experienced multi disciplinary team.
Experience in community mental health is preferred but consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate they have the transferrable skills and experience to work autonomously within a remote and rural area.
This is a permanent 37.5 hours post per week, in addition you are required to participate in an on call rota which includes provision of a place of safety and escort to New Craig’s Hospital service in Inverness. A current driving licence is essential for this post.
