Exciting opportunities have arisen within the East Community Hospitals for Senior Charge Nurses to join our established nursing teams in the East Fife area.   Our wards care for adults who require rehabilitation and complex discharge planning. 

As Senior Charge Nurse your role is pivotal to the delivery of the Partnership’s priority areas of work to meet the Reshaping Care for Older People agenda and the Health & Social Care Integration.

The post holder will be expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience and contributes to the delivery of organisational objectives. You will be able to demonstrate high professional standards of care and the ability to work within an effective multidisciplinary team setting.

You are required to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire enthuse and lead the nursing team. You will be accountable for delivering on service provision, redesign and improvement to provide safe, effective, person centred care.

You will have extensive post–registration experience and demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice preferably within care of the older person setting. A passion for the ethos of Community Hospitals is essential. You should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to your ongoing professional and personal development and education.
