An exciting opportunity exists for motivated Physiotherapists with a special interest in the management of MSK conditions to work within MSK services in South Ayrshire.
You will be the first point of contact in GP practices within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Clinical sessions in core MSK will be part of this role.
With highly specialist clinical skills in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, you will have appropriate postgraduate training to Masters Level relevant to the speciality of MSK, and an advanced knowledge of managing patients with complex MSK and chronic pain conditions.
You will lead and provide education, training, and support to Physiotherapists, Allied Health professionals, other health care staff and will have proven teaching experience.
It is recognised, within this new role, that not all applicants may possess all the required competencies needed. A period of development may be required to gain the necessary skills for this role and training will be developed for these new roles as needed.
It is essential that you possess a Diploma/BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy and are HCPC registered.
