Secondment/ Fixed term for 1 year to cover substantive post holder’s secondment

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse Manager to join our staff bank Management team based at Carronbank House, Denny.

The post holder will be accountable to the Head of HR Resourcing for the management and control of supplementary staffing for NHS Forth Valley with a clear focus for delivery of service performance objectives.

To provide performance management (financial – agency & bank activity data, planning, and business management) support to the Head of HR Resourcing, ensuring the supplementary staffing services are delivered within budget that national and local targets are met, maximizing income to full potential

The post holder is the Manager for a specific service (Nursing) within the Staff Bank office and line manager to a group of bank workers working across NHS Forth Valley, managing performance, providing leadership, guidance, and support.

A working knowledge and experience of the NHS, as well as an understanding of the different Nursing disciplines is essential.

Experience of Allocate Software Systems, Microsoft Office Packages (including Office 365) is essential. 

Applicants will require to be a registered Nurse with the NMC and have recent managerial experience of managing staff and systems. You should have proven admin and managerial experience, with supervision experience and proven leadership skills.

You will require excellent interpersonal relationship skills, an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, with the ability to organise the workload to meet the demands of the service.
