Salary: Associate Adviser - pro rata per annum
An opportunity has arisen at NHS Education for Scotland (NES) for a Vocational Training Adviser to devise, coordinate, and quality assure Dental Vocational Training in Scotland.
The successful candidate will work as part of a national team of VT Advisers and will have responsibility for one or more Dental Vocational Training Schemes.
BDS or equivalent is a requirement of the post along with registration and good standing with the GDC. Interested candidates should be able to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to clinical dentistry. The successful candidates will be expected to have extensive experience of general practice management, be able to demonstrate relevant and current knowledge of Vocational Training, to be engaged in extensive activities relating to Postgraduate Education and CPD and have teaching or training experience. The post holders will be able to demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus an enthusiastic and ethical approach.
The posts will be based in the Aberdeen Dental Education Centre (ADEC), with regular travel throughout Scotland required due to the nature of National working.
