Research Nurse Manager

Due to the upcoming retirement of the current post holder Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is seeking to recruit a Research Nurse Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and proactive individual to lead our Nursing and Clinical Core team. Applicants should have extensive research and clinical experience, familiarity with people and resource management, and the ability to lead a diverse team at a senior level in a complex setting. Knowledge of regulatory inspections and the MHRA Phase 1 Accreditation scheme will be expected. They must have an enthusiasm for research and a desire to improve outcomes for patients.
Clinical Research Facility has a national and international reputation for clinical research excellence. It is located within purpose built adult and paediatric clinical facilities at three hospital sites in Edinburgh and plays a major role in the provision of the clinical science infrastructure for NHS Lothian and the University of Edinburgh As such the post-holder will be expected to move between clinical sites as service needs dictate on a regular basis.
This is a key post within the Senior Management team in Edinburgh CRF. The post-holder will report to, and work closely with, the CRF Deputy Director to help deliver the local and national clinical research strategy as part of NHS Research Scotland (NRS).
