Applications are invited to join our enthusiastic and innovative team within the North sector theatre Department. Vacancies are within Theatre and recovery, choice of area should be made clear within the application. North Sector Theatres comprises of 6 theatres within Stobhill ACH and 23 theatres at Glasgow Royal Infirmary ( Voted Top hospital in Scotland). The activity within these planned and emergency theatres comprise of patients who include a defined patient group requiring complex interventions during surgery and post operative. We are seeking motivated individuals who strive to progress the development of supporting nursing pathways within the Theatre departments. We require individuals that will support trained nurses to give Holistic patient centred care.
Suitable candidates must demonstrate an ability to engage teams to meet service delivery - key in the pre and post- operative environment.
Successful candidates require evidence, IT skills, good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a theatre/recovery environment. As a key member in these fast paced areas you will require a “can do” approach.
In return the successful candidate will be offered a supported induction period and the opportunity to develop recovery and skills
